CBIC Empanels Officers For Promotion To The Grade Of Commissioner Of Customs & Indirect Taxes

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has notified the empanelment of the officers for promotion to the grade of Commissioner of Customs & Indirect Taxes.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposals of the Department of Revenue of 

Empanelment of the following officers for promotion to the grade of Commissioner of Customs & Indirect Taxes in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes), in Level 14 of the Pay Matrix, for the panel years 2024 and 2025, w.e.f. the date of assumption of charge of the post and until further orders.

Non-empanelment of the following 03 officers for promotion to the grade of Commissioner of Customs & Indirect Taxes for the panel year(s) mentioned against their names:

Keeping recommendations of the DPC in respect of the following 02 officers in ‘sealed covers’ for the panel year(s) mentioned against their names.

Deferring the empanelment Sh. Vivek Kumar Jain for promotion to the grade of Commissioner of Customs & Indirect Taxes for the panel years 2025.
