GSTAT Notifies Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (Procedure) Rules, 2025 [READ RULES]

The government has issued an officer order for appointing Suresh Choudhary as Deputy Registrar of Goods and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT), Jaipur.

The President of India is pleased to appoint Shri Suresh Choudhary, Deputy Commissioner, CGST Commissionerate, Alwar, Rajasthan as Deputy Registrar, GST Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) at Jaipur in Level-11 as per the 7th CPC in the Pay Matrix on deputation basis for a period of three years with effect from date of his/her joining the post at Principal Bench, GSTAT, New Delhi or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

⁠The officer, is required to join at Principal Bench, Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT), New Delhi within 21 days from the date of issue of this order.

Shri Suresh Choudhary will be deemed to have been relieved on the date of expiry of his deputation period unless the competent authority has with requisite approval, extended the period of deputation in writing, prior to its date of expiry. 

In the event of the officer overstaying for any reason whatsoever, he will be liable for disciplinary action and other adverse civil/service consequences which would include the period of overstay not being counted for service for the purpose of pension and that any increment due during the period overstayed being deferred with cumulative effect, till the date on which he rejoins in his parent cadre. In such an event, proceedings for deemed resignation from the service would also be initiated.

The deputation will be governed by the terms and conditions issued by the DoP&T from time to time
