The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has announced the temporary unavailability of its Passbook Portal as it undertakes a planned database consolidation and software application upgrade aimed at improving service delivery and system performance.
The following notice is currently displayed on the EPFO Passbook Portal:
*“To enhance service delivery, improve processing efficiency, and provide a better user experience, EPFO is undertaking a planned database consolidation and upgradation of software applications. As part of this transition, the passbook portal will remain temporarily unavailable. We expect services to be fully restored by 00:00 hrs on 30 June 2026. EPFO regrets the temporary inconvenience and appreciates your patience as we implement this important upgrade to provide faster, more reliable, and more secure services.”
According to a notice displayed on the EPFO portal, the organisation is carrying out a comprehensive technological upgrade to enhance processing efficiency, strengthen data security, and provide a better user experience. During this transition, users will not be able to access the EPFO passbook facility.
