The CGST Faridabad Organizes Interactive Session on #NextGenGST Reforms at GST Awareness Camp in Dharuhera.

An engaging and informative GST awareness camp was successfully conducted in Dharuhera, jointly organized by KSV Tax Consultants and PNGI, with active participation and support from the Office of the Commissioner, CGST Faridabad.

The highlight of the event was an interactive session on #NextGenGST Reforms, attended by over 100 participants, primarily from the Automobile and FMCG sectors. The session aimed to enhance taxpayer awareness and readiness for the evolving landscape of Goods and Services Tax (GST) in India.

The session was graced by Sh. Reyaz Ahmad, Commissioner, CGST Faridabad, who addressed various queries raised by industry stakeholders and professionals. His address focused on the upcoming reforms under the #NextGenGST initiative and the broader vision of streamlining compliance and improving taxpayer services.

A special emphasis was placed on the #GSTBachatUtsav, a government initiative aimed at promoting awareness about GST benefits and ensuring that businesses avail all eligible credits, exemptions, and reductions.

Participants actively engaged in discussions, raising practical and technical queries such as:

Transition to new GST rates and its implications on pricing and input credit.

Clarifications related to Section 14 of the CGST Act, 2017, particularly concerning the change in effective tax rates and supply timing.

Challenges faced by MSMEs in adapting to technology-driven GST systems.

Compliance under e-invoicing and e-way bill provisions for mid-sized enterprises.

The camp successfully fostered a collaborative environment between tax authorities and taxpayers, with the Commissioner encouraging feedback from the business community to improve future GST administration.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants and stakeholders, reaffirming the commitment of CGST Faridabad to proactive engagement, transparency, and support for industry under the evolving GST framework.
