ICMAI Announces June 2025 Final Examination Provisional Rank List — Surat’s Hans Amresh Jain Tops Nationwide

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has released the provisional rank list for the Final Examination under the 2022 syllabus for the June 2025 term, showcasing the country’s top-performing Cost and Management Accounting (CMA) students.

Leading the prestigious list is Hans Amresh Jain from Surat, who secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1, followed by Chirag Kasat from Mumbai at AIR 2, and Trishir Goyal from Jaipur at AIR 3. The results reflect the geographical diversity of talent, with toppers hailing from major metros as well as smaller cities across India.

Top 10 All India Ranks (AIR) – June 2025 Final Examination:

  2. Chirag Kasat – Mumbai
  3. Trishir Goyal – Jaipur
  4. Priya Babbar – Faridabad
  5. Nikhil Jain Sait – Rajahmundry
  6. Saurav Kumar – Serampore, West Bengal
  7. Kunta Hari Charan Reddy – Hyderabad
  8. Swati Agarwal – Jaipur
  9. Poojitha Reddy P – Bangalore
  10. Mumal Bhagwan Shekhawat – Palghar, Maharashtra

The female representation among toppers was noteworthy, with candidates like Priya Babbar (AIR 4), Swati Agarwal (AIR 8), Poojitha Reddy (AIR 9), and Mumal Shekhawat (AIR 10) securing top spots.

The ICMAI conducts these examinations biannually, and achieving a top rank is considered a hallmark of excellence in the field of cost and management accountancy. This year’s results once again demonstrated the rigorous standards and competitive spirit associated with the profession.

Regional Insights:

Surat emerged as a hub of high scorers with multiple ranks, including AIR 1, 14, 22, and 46. Jaipur students dominated with several top-50 ranks including AIR 3, 8, 34, 35, 37, 44, and 45. Hyderabad saw strong representation, producing AIR 7, 15, 16, 18, 20, and several others.

Established in 1944, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India is a statutory professional body under an Act of Parliament, tasked with regulating and promoting the profession of cost and management accountancy in India. The CMA qualification opens doors to careers in corporate finance, taxation, consultancy, and strategic management.

The final merit list will be published after verification of marks, and the provisional rank holders will be honored at the institute’s upcoming convocation ceremony.
