Delhi ITAT Declares Summer Vacation: Know Dates

The President of Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) has declared the summer vacation  in the Benches of the ITAT in the Delhi zone.

After considering the requests of various Bar Associations across the country, the President, ITAT has approved declaring vacations in the Benches of the ITAT in line with the vacations observed by the Jurisdictional High Courts.

Accordingly, the summer vacation in the Benches of Delhi Zone, i.e. Delhi, Agra & Dehradun Circuit Bench of the ITAT, shall be observed from 9th June to 20th June, 2025.

In this regard, it may be noted that during the vacation period, there will be no sitting of Benches. Vacation Bench for hearing stay petitions or urgent mentioning of appeals shall be constituted by the Hon’ble Vice-President (DZ). The Vice-President, Hon’ble Members, Sr.PS/PS and MTS attached with them shall attend the office as usual.

The vacation period shall be utilized for judicial/ technical research, dictating pending judicial orders, human resource capacity building and attending to administrative matters etc.

During vacation, the Registry office shall function as usual.
