Central GST Commissioner Reyaz Ahmed has urged entrepreneurs to make full use of the Samvaad Scheme launched by the department, calling it an important platform to resolve industry concerns and promote transparency in taxation.

He was addressing the 7th Governing Council Meeting of the Faridabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), during which CGST Faridabad conducted a special Samvaad Session with entrepreneurs and industry representatives.

Ahmed said that the department has been regularly holding interactive meetings with business associations to better understand issues faced by industries. Such initiatives, he added, not only help in resolving practical challenges of trade and commerce but also improve awareness among taxpayers.

The session saw active participation from FCCI President H.K. Batra, General Secretary Rohit Gupta, industrialist Ramesh Gupta, former FIA President T.C. Bhavan, Shankar Khandelwal, and other eminent industry leaders.

On this occasion, Commissioner Reyaz Ahmed was felicitated with a shawl and memento. FCCI and FIA officials welcomed the department’s initiative and expressed hope that the Samvaad platform would speed up the resolution of long-pending industry issues and strengthen cooperation between business and the tax department.
