The Eighth Central Pay Commission has issued a notice dated April 24, 2026, informing stakeholders about the overwhelming number of requests received for interaction meetings scheduled between April 28 and April 30, 2026, in Delhi.

According to the official communication, the Commission has received a large volume of representations from various unions and associations seeking interaction during the Delhi sittings. While efforts are being made to accommodate the maximum number of stakeholders, the Commission has clarified that due to the compressed schedule, not all requests for meetings during these dates may be accepted.

The notice highlights that the Commission is prioritizing interactions with as many unions and associations as possible within the limited timeframe. However, logistical constraints and the high demand have necessitated selective scheduling.

In a significant relief for stakeholders who may not secure a meeting slot in Delhi, the Commission has assured that additional interaction sessions will be आयोजित in the coming months. These meetings will be conducted not only in Delhi but also across various States and Union Territories. The schedule and details of such meetings will be made available on the official website of the Commission in due course.

The Commission has further advised stakeholders located outside the Delhi NCR region to seek appointments for interaction in their respective States or nearby regions when the subsequent rounds of meetings are announced.

The notice has been issued by Abhay N. Sahay, Deputy Secretary to the Eighth Central Pay Commission, underscoring the Commission’s intent to ensure wider stakeholder consultation while managing practical constraints of scheduling.
