The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN), the government’s IT backbone for GST operations, has issued a final reminder to taxpayers ahead of the crucial deadline to file waiver applications.

The last date to submit the application is June 30, 2025, and taxpayers have been urged to act promptly to avoid penalties.

In a public advisory released today, GSTN highlighted that several users have reported difficulties in filing their waiver applications. To address these concerns, a detailed step-by-step advisory has been made available on the official GST portal.

“Facing issues while filing your waiver application? Don’t worry! A detailed advisory is now available,” the official communication read.

The advisory explains the process of submitting waiver applications, possible technical errors, and recommended solutions. Taxpayers who encounter issues during the submission process are advised to raise service tickets through the GST Self-Service portal.

With only one day left, GSTN has intensified its outreach through banners, social media updates, and direct communication on the portal.

The waiver application is essential for availing certain tax relaxations or late fee concessions as notified. Missing the deadline could result in denial of such reliefs, making it critical for eligible taxpayers to complete the filing process before midnight on June 30.

GSTN officials reiterated that timely submission will not only help in securing benefits but also ensure smoother compliance in future tax periods.
