LIVE : ‘Fit India Sundays on Cycle’ Marathon Headed By Member GST Shashank Priya

As part of the GST Day 2025 celebrations, a spirited cycling marathon under the banner of ‘Fit India Sundays on Cycle’was held this morning in the national capital. Spearheaded by Member GST Shri Shashank Priya, the event marked the enthusiastic kickoff of the GST Pakhwada, a fortnight-long outreach program announced by the Directorate General of Goods and Services Tax (DGGST) under the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC).

A Fusion of Fitness and Fiscal Awareness

The marathon commenced at 6:00 AM from India Gate, witnessing participation from over 1,000 cyclists, including GST officials, tax professionals, fitness enthusiasts, schoolchildren, and citizens from across Delhi-NCR. The event beautifully blended the objectives of public health, environmental sustainability, and taxpayer engagement.
