CGST Noida to Host GST Conclave Marking 8 Years of Tax Reform: Know Date, Venue
The CGST Noida Commissionerate under the Meerut Zone is set to host a high-level GST Conclave at GST Bhawan, Sector 48, Noida on 16th June, 2025. The event is being organized to commemorate 8 years since the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and aims to review its journey, accomplishments, and the challenges that lie ahead.
The Conclave will be held in the August presence of Sanjay Mangal, Chief Commissioner of the Meerut Zone, and will be graced by Sh. Vivek Johri, former Chairman of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker.

Scheduled for 3:00 PM, the event is expected to draw participants from across the tax administration, industry representatives, and key stakeholders in the GST ecosystem. The theme for this year's conclave, "8 Years of GST: Journey So Far and Challenges Ahead", sets the tone for a critical reflection on how India’s landmark tax reform has evolved since its rollout in July 2017.
As GST completes nearly a decade, the conclave seeks to highlight policy milestones, address persisting operational issues, and encourage open dialogue on improving compliance and easing the tax burden on businesses.

The event is being coordinated by Urja Jain, Assistant Commissioner, CGST Noida. For attendance and participation-related inquiries, she can be contacted at +91 8208985274.
The Conclave reaffirms the department’s commitment to transparency, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement of the indirect tax system that now forms the backbone of India’s fiscal federalism.
