Govt. Appoints These Officers To The Posts Of Special Director of Enforcement

The Department of Personnel & Training Secretariat of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposals of the Department of Revenue for the Appointment of the officers to the posts of Special Director of Enforcement.

The officiers namely Viplav Kumar Choudhry, IPS (AGMUT:1997), T. Sankar, IRS(IT:2003) and N. Padmanaban, IRS(IT:2005) has been appointed to the posts of Special Director of Enforcement in the Directorate of Enforcement in Level 14 of the Pay Matrix, on deputation basis, for a period of five years, w.e.f. the date of assumption of charge of the posts or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Rajnish Dev Barman, IRS (IT:1999) and Manu Tentiwal, IRS (IT:2003) has been appointed to the posts of Special Director of Enforcement in the Directorate of Enforcement in Level 14 of the Pay Matrix, on deputation basis, for the period till 20.12.2025 w.e.f. the date of assumption of charge of the posts or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The government has notified waiver of the mandatory cooling off period in respect of Shri Viplav Kumar Choudhry, IPS (AGMUT:1997) for appointment on the post of Special Director of Enforcement in the Enforcement Directorate on deputation basis.
