Govt. Appoints Panel of Sr./Jr. Standing Counsels For CBIC To Handle Indirect Tax Litigation In Delhi and Patna High Courts

The Ministry of Finance has appointed a Panel of Sr./Jr. Standing Counsels for Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) to Handle Indirect Tax Litigation in Delhi and Patna High Courts.

The Board has clarified that field formations i.e., CGST Delhi Zone and CGST Ranchi Zone, Patna may avail services of the Sr./Jr. Standing Counsels, appointed vide Board’s Order F. No. 2378A/13/2023-Legal (Part-IV) dated 04.07.2024 (copy available on CBIC website) for handling DRI/DGGI cases of Indirect Taxes before various High Courts and other fora.
