REALITY CHECK | No Option To Withdraw PF Through UPI Yet

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has not yet announced the withdrawal of the Provident Fund (PF) balances using UPI (Unified Payments Interface) yet.

The recent claims suggesting otherwise are misleading.

No UPI Withdrawal Facility – EPFO has not introduced any feature allowing members to withdraw their PF via UPI.

Official Withdrawal Process – PF withdrawals can only be made through official channels like bank transfers linked to Aadhaar-verified accounts.

Avoid Misinformation – Members are advised to rely on official EPFO notifications to prevent falling prey to fraud or misinformation.
