Two Men Arrested for Smuggling 82 kg Peacock Tail feathers at IGI Airport

The Delhi Customs Department at IGI Airport under the leadership of Vishal Pal Singh arrested two men for smuggling 82 kg peacock tail feathers.

In a major wildlife trafficking bust, Customs officers at IGI Airport, New Delhi intercepted two Indian passengers attempting to smuggle 82 kg of peacock tail feathers while departing to Bangkok on Thai Airways Flight TG 332 (28.01.2025).

Spot profiling & baggage check led to the discovery of 82 kg of smuggled peacock tail feathers! The contraband was seized under Section 110 of the Customs Act, 1962, and the passengers were arrested under Section 104.
