Massive Reshuffle of Authorised Officers Announced in MEPZ SEZ [READ OFFICE ORDER]

The Ministry of Commerce & Industry has announced a series of transfers and postings involving several Authorised Officers under the MEPZ Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Chennai. 

The official order, dated May 6, 2025, instructs officers to assume their new roles on or before May 9, 2025.

Highlights of the Transfer Order:

  1. Shri R. Thiyagarajan, formerly posted at SIPCOT SEZ, Oragadam, has been reassigned to DLF SEZ, Porur. He will also hold additional charge of Info Park SEZ, Taramani.
  2. Smt. Manimehalai Selvam, previously at DLF SEZ, Porur, will now serve at Perungudi SEZ. She will concurrently oversee IG3 SEZ, Thoraipakkam, and Syntel SEZ, Siruseri.
  3. Shri S. Rengesh moves from Perungudi SEZ to Flextronics SEZ, Sriperumbudur, and will additionally handle Salcomp SEZ, Sriperumbudur.
  4. Shri R. Mahadevan, earlier at Flextronics SEZ, is now posted at SIPCOT SEZ, Oragadam.
  5. Shri K. Vajravel transitions from Aspen SEZ, Coimbatore, to ELCOT SEZ, Coimbatore.
  6. Shri S. Balaji, previously at ELCOT SEZ, will now take charge at Aspen SEZ, Coimbatore.
  7. Shri David Anand, stationed at Gateway Officepark SEZ, Perungulathur, will assume additional responsibilities as Authorised Officer in MEPZ, Tambaram.
  8. Shri G. Deverajan has been moved from Cheyyar SEZ, Burgur, to Delta SEZ, Kurubarapalli, with added responsibility over ELCOT SEZ, Hosur.
  9. Shri G. Krishnan, formerly at Delta SEZ, will now operate from Cheyyar SEZ, Burgur, and continue overseeing SIPCOT SEZ, Burgur.
  10. Shri S. Ravindranath has been newly appointed as Authorised Officer at ELCOT SEZ, Trichy, and will manage SIPCOT SEZ, Ulundurpet as an additional responsibility.

The directive, signed by Assistant Development Commissioner Balasubramaniyam S, was issued with the approval of the Development Commissioner of MEPZ SEZ.
