PHDCCI Appoints Adv. Pawan Arora as Chair of Indirect Taxes Committee for 2024-25

The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) has appointed Advocate Pawan Arora, Senior Partner at Athena Law Associates, as the Chair of its Indirect Taxes Committee for the Presidential Year 2024-25.

With over 14.5 years of extensive experience in the field of Indirect Taxes, Mr. Arora is recognized for his expertise in advisory and litigation across diverse business verticals. His professional journey spans advisory roles on GST, VAT, and Service Tax, with particular focus on industries such as real estate and infrastructure construction.

Mr. Arora’s career reflects a blend of consultancy and litigation practice, offering industry stakeholders practical insights into tax law complexities. He has also been a noted speaker at several national forums, delivering his views at GST workshops and seminars organized by government departments, CAG, NICF, PHDCCI, and professional bodies including study circles of the ICAI.

The appointment is expected to strengthen PHDCCI’s advocacy and thought leadership in the domain of indirect taxation, a sector critical to India’s business and regulatory landscape.
