• Educational Background & Career Start: Born on 28 January 1968, Justice Mehta holds a B.Com (Hons.), is a qualified ACA, and also possesses an LL.B. degree. He was enrolled as an advocate on 6 September 1992, and elevated to the bench on 16 November 2016.
• Legal Practice: Before his elevation, he represented diverse corporate and institutional clients in matters of taxation, arbitration, banking, company, electricity, environment, insurance, agrarian, and municipal law. He also handled constitutional, contract, mining, election, civil, service, and industrial disputes .
• Key Panels & Roles: Served as standing counsel for Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL), Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL), and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Additionally, he was on the panel for Oriental Insurance, United India Insurance, IDBI, NHAI, Hindustan Zinc, RFC, and SEBI.
