In partial modification of the Institute’s Important Announcement No. 13-CA (EXAM)/2025 dated 13th January 2025, it is announced for general information that in view of the tense and security situation in the Country, the remaining papers of Chartered Accountants Final, Intermediate and Post Qualification Course Examinations [International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT AT)] May 2025 from 9th May 2025 to 14th May 2025, stand postponed,” the notification read.

The decision was announced late Thursday night, citing the prevailing tense and sensitive security situation in the country.

The apex regulatory body for chartered accountancy in India also confirmed the postponement of the Post Qualification Course Examinations, including the International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT AT). Revised dates for all postponed examinations will be announced in due course.

In an official notification, ICAI emphasized that the safety and well-being of candidates were paramount, prompting the deferment. The move affects over 1.58 lakh aspirants who were slated to appear for the May session of the CA exams.

This development comes amid growing tensions between India and Pakistan, with the situation on high alert under the ongoing “Operation Sindoor,” which has seen intensified security measures across several regions.
