IGST Exemption Extended On Equipment Meant For Manufacture Of LRSAM System: CBIC

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on the recommendation of the 55th GST Council Meet has notified the extension of IGST exemption on equipment meant for manufacture of Long Range Surface to Air Missile System (LRSAM) systems.

The council has recommended extending IGST exemption to systems, sub-systems, equipment, parts, sub-parts, tools, test equipment, software meant assembly/manufacture of LRSAM system under Notification 19/2019-Customs.
