Recently the Rajasthan State Tax Service Association has issued a press release proposed not to call any Chartered Accountant (CA) as faculty in departmental training while demonstrating the anguish against  CA Jatin Harjai’s tweet raising voice against the alleged corruption by the GST officials.

CA Jatin Harjai citing the news cuttings, twitted, “Across India #GST offices are nest of corruption. Officers are literally nothing to do with law of the land. Most of times they work like recovery agents. Recovery may be personal or for govt. treasury to fulfill the target. Hell for honest taxpayer & haven for tax evaders”.

Many CAs And Advocates Come Forward To Support CA Jatin Harjai’s Fight Against Corruption By GST Dept. Here are a few tweets and public opinion.

“Biggest irony .. Advocates who are expected by society to fight for justice. But due to some personal benefit, the Rajasthan State Tax Service Association issued a statement against CA Jatin Harjai Ji, who is raising voice against corruption. The fight against corruption and the system is not an easy task.  It was very hard, and I salute CA Jatin Harjai ji for his dedication,” tweets CA Anupam Sharma.

“Dear Professionals, In view of the press note circulated by Rajasthan State Tax Service Association (President Shri R P Bairwa, General Secretary Shri Narendra Choudhary) Condemning Adv( CA ) Shri Jatin Harjai Ji & wrong (defamatory) comment for all CA & Advocate fraternity we request you to kindly reach Chief Commissioners office at Kar Bhawan, High Court Circle, Jaipur on 10.00 AM on Tuesday 17.09.2024 to express our serious concern on above matter of per se defamation of  all CA  & Advocate professional brothers. We will meet to Chief  Commissioner of SGST in the matter & will submit our  representation in this regard, “ tweets CA Akhil Pachori.

“SGST Union says they will boycott @Jatin_Harjai sir in their training sessions from now on. It is their loss Also, posting media reports on X is crime?? Have a look at the CBIC tweet. Same language has been used by them for corrupt officials by CBIC,” adds CA Akhil Pachori while citing CBIC’s tweet.
