CGST Mumbai Central Division II and III Offices Shift from Girgaon Chawpatty to Parel

The Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) & Central Excise, Mumbai Central Commissionerate has officially shifted its Division II and Division III offices from their long-standing premises at Girgaon Chawpatty to the modern Piramal Chambers at Lalbaug, Parel.

The change was formally communicated through Trade Notice No. 01/25-26, issued with the approval of the Commissioner, CGST & C. Ex., Mumbai Central.

New Office Locations Announced

As per the notification, the following divisions have begun functioning from their new addresses:

Officials confirmed that both divisions have already commenced full operations from the new premises.

Jurisdiction Remains Unchanged

Despite the relocation, the jurisdictional areas for the two divisions remain intact:

  • Division II: Areas under PIN codes 400008 and 400011
  • Division III: Areas under PIN code 400013

The Commissionerate has advised taxpayers, trade associations, and other stakeholders to ensure that all correspondence and physical submissions intended for these divisions are now routed to the new Parel address.

To facilitate a smooth transition, the department has reaffirmed the availability of national GST helpdesks for technical or systemic issues:
