CA EXAMS: ICAI Notifies Revised Examination Dates

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced a revised schedule for the May 2025 Chartered Accountants Final, Intermediate, and International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT-AT) examinations. This update comes in light of recent favorable developments in the nation’s security landscape.

In its notification dated May 10, 2025, ICAI stated that exams originally planned from May 9 to May 14 will now take place between May 16 and May 24. The revised timetable retains the original exam centers and timings, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM IST, with certain papers running until 6:00 PM IST.

Revised Examination Dates:

  • Final Exam (Group II), Paper 5 & INTT-AT Paper 1
    Original: May 10 → New: May 16
  • Final Exam (Group II), Paper 6 & INTT-AT Paper 2
    Original: May 13 → New: May 18
  • Intermediate Exam (Group II), Paper 4
    Original: May 9 → New: May 20
  • Intermediate Exam (Group II), Paper 5
    Original: May 11 → New: May 22
  • Intermediate Exam (Group II), Paper 6
    Original: May 14 → New: May 24

The ICAI emphasized that admit cards already issued remain valid for the new dates. Additionally, there will be no changes to the Foundation exams, which will proceed as scheduled on May 15, 17, 19, and 21.

The Institute clarified that exams will not be rescheduled in the event of any public or local holidays coinciding with the new dates.

Candidates are urged to regularly check www.icai.org for updates.
