AIBE 20 (XX) 2025: Registration, Correction, and Fee Payment Deadlines Extended; Exam Scheduled for November 30

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has extended the registration, correction, and fee payment deadlines for the All India Bar Examination – AIBE XX (20). Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed either a 3-year LL.B degree or a 5-year integrated LL.B degree to appear for the examination. Final-year students and those awaiting results may also apply if they possess an enrolment certificate or satisfy eligibility norms set by their respective State Bar Councils.

There is no upper age limit to appear in the exam. Candidates who qualify in the test will receive the Certificate of Practice (CoP) from the Bar Council of India, authorizing them to practice law in Indian courts.

The correction window is open until 11:59 PM on November 1, 2025, for candidates who have completed the fee payment process. Only minor corrections are permitted during this period.

Validity of Result

As per the recent BCI notification, the validity of the AIBE 20 result has been extended till March 21, 2026. This means that candidates who qualify in the current session will remain eligible for the Certificate of Practice until that date.
