The 56th meeting of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council is scheduled to commence today at 11:00 AM, according to the official memorandum issued by the Council. The high-level meeting will be chaired by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Finance ministers from all states and Union Territories are expected to participate, along with senior officials from the Central government.
