CBIC and CII to Host National Conference on Authorized Economic Operators in New Delhi

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), is set to host a significant event aimed at bolstering trade facilitation in India. The CBIC-CII National Conference on Authorized Economic Operators (AEO) will take place on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the prestigious Hotel Taj Palace in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

Scheduled from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by a networking lunch, the conference is designed to foster dialogue between the government and the exporter-importer community. The event will highlight the advantages and opportunities offered by the AEO program, a flagship initiative to streamline customs processes and enhance the ease of doing business in India.

The conference will feature interactive sessions with senior government officials, updates on policy developments, and firsthand accounts from businesses accredited under the AEO program. This platform aims to strengthen collaboration between policymakers and industry stakeholders, ensuring that the benefits of trade facilitation reach a wider audience.

Participation in the conference is by invitation, and interested attendees are required to confirm their presence by completing a mandatory registration form available at https://forms.office.com/r/utA827Ayra. Due to security protocols, entry to the venue will be restricted to individuals with an official entry pass, which can be collected at the registration desk between 9:00 AM and 9:45 AM on the day of the event.

For additional information or assistance, participants may reach out to the organizers at diccbec.dor@gov.in or contact the helpline at 011-23310013.
