Hardline Approach Toward Small Importers “Counter-Productive”: Bombay High Court Quashes Order After Seized Goods Deteriorate

The Bombay High Court set aside an Order-in-Original issued by Customs authorities after finding that the imported goods had completely deteriorated during the course of the dispute and stated that the hardline approach toward small importers was “counter-productive”.  The bench of Justice G.
