Bombay High Court Quashes DRI Bank Account Freeze After 6 Months Time Limit Lapses

The Bombay High Court has set aside the provisional attachment of bank accounts holding that the attachment cannot continue beyond 6 months i.e. the legally prescribed period without proper extension. The Bench of Justice G. S. Kulkarni and Justice Aarti Sathe noted that the attachment order dated July 8, 2025, expired on January 7, 2026….
