The Ahmedabad Customs has installed dedicated Passenger Feedback Kiosks at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport and Surat International Airport to collect real-time feedback from international travellers.

According to the department, the digital kiosks have been set up to enable passengers arriving or departing on international flights to share their experiences regarding customs clearance, facilitation, and overall service quality. The feedback collected through these kiosks will help the authorities identify areas of improvement and enhance transparency in customs operations.

The kiosks operate through a simple interface where passengers can select their preferred language and submit feedback directly through the portal. Officials stated that the initiative is intended to make passenger engagement more interactive and responsive, allowing travellers to communicate their concerns or appreciation instantly.

The initiative forms part of broader efforts by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs to strengthen passenger facilitation at international airports while ensuring efficient customs administration.

Officials from the customs department emphasised that passenger feedback will play an important role in improving service standards, strengthening accountability, and delivering a smoother experience for international travellers passing through the two major airports in Gujarat.
