As part of the pre-GST Day celebrations, the Central GST and Central Excise Commissionerate, Raigad, successfully organized a GST Conclave for departmental officers, staff, and members of the trade community. 

The event was aimed at enhancing awareness, sharing knowledge, and fostering dialogue on key aspects of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime.

The conclave witnessed informative sessions by renowned Chartered Accountants. CA Yachit Dewan and CA Ajit Joshidelivered insightful presentations on the Composition Scheme, shedding light on its applicability, benefits, and recent changes, while addressing common challenges faced by small taxpayers under the scheme.

CA Ajinkya Vaishampayan led a thought-provoking discussion on various contemporary GST issues, including practical hurdles in implementation, compliance nuances, and interpretation of evolving legal provisions.

The event was well-received by officers and members of the trade, who engaged in active discussion and clarified their queries. The Conclave reflected the Commissionerate’s continued efforts to foster tax compliance through education, transparency, and stakeholder engagement in the lead-up to the 8th GST Day on July 1, 2025.
