CBIC Appoints Common Adjudicating Authority for Bando India Pvt Ltd Customs Cases

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has appointed a Common Adjudicating Authority to handle multiple show cause notices issued to Bando (India) Pvt. Ltd., a company located in Gurugram, Haryana. 

The CBIC, exercising powers under Section 4 and related provisions of the Customs Act, 1962, has designated the Commissioner of Customs, Chennai-II (Import), as the Common Adjudicating Authority. This official will oversee and adjudicate a set of four distinct show cause notices originally under the jurisdiction of various customs officers across India.
