ICSI Reopens Registration for CS December 2025 Exams: Check Dates, Fees, and Eligibility Details

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has officially reopened the registration portal for the Company Secretary (CS) December 2025 examination today at 10:00 am. Aspiring candidates who missed the earlier window can now apply with a late fee through the institute’s official website — icsi.edu.

According to the notification released by ICSI, the late fee registration window will remain active until October 25, 2025. Candidates who have already registered will be given the opportunity to make corrections or modifications — including changes in exam centre, module, medium, or elective subject — between October 26 and November 21, 2025, up to 4:00 pm.

Exam Schedule and Timings

The CS Executive and Professional Programme examinations (Groups I and II) are scheduled to be conducted from December 22 to December 29, 2025.
Each paper will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm, with the first 15 minutes (2:00 pm to 2:15 pm) exclusively allocated for reading the question paper.

ICSI has further earmarked December 30 and 31, 2025, as well as January 1 and 2, 2026, as buffer days to manage any unforeseen circumstances such as technical issues or disruptions.

Eligibility Criteria

For the Executive Programme, candidates must:

  • Successfully complete the Online Pre-Examination Test, and
  • Complete either the One Day Orientation Programme (ODOP) or Three Days Orientation Programme (TDOP), depending on their date of registration.

For the Professional Programme, clearing the Online Pre-Examination Test is a mandatory prerequisite.

Candidates are also reminded that the last date to complete the Pre-Examination Test for the December 2025 session is October 24, 2025, by 5:30 pm.

Application and Other Fees

The following fee structure applies to candidates registering for the upcoming examination session:

  • Executive Programme – ₹1,500 per group
  • Professional Programme – ₹1,800 per group
  • Late Fee – ₹250 (flat rate)
  • Exam Centre/Group/Medium/Subject Modification Fee – ₹250 per change
  • Additional Group Fee – ₹250
  • Dubai Centre Surcharge – USD 100 (or equivalent in INR)

Document Requirements

While submitting the examination form, candidates are required to upload the following documents:

  • Proof of date of birth (such as a birth certificate or government ID)
  • Class 12 pass certificate
  • Caste or category certificate (if applicable for fee concession)
  • Scanned passport-sized photograph and signature
