Hijab Ban: Three-Judge Bench of Karnataka High Court to hear petitions Today at 2.30 pm

A three-judge Bench of the Karnataka High Court will hear today (Thursday) the petitions questioning the ban on wearing of hijabs by students in colleges.

A full bench of the Karnataka High Court headed by Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi and also comprising Justices Krishna S Dixit and JM Khazi will hear the batch of petitions filed by female Muslims students against ban on wearing hijab by certain Karnataka colleges.

The matter will be at 2.30 pm today.
